A New Plan
I had completely forgotten about this, but I emailed a review of Pink Champagne to www.booklore.co.uk some time ago.
I heard from them tonight that the review had been uploaded with an apology for the delay. The review is currently on the first page if you check it out now and the direct link they gave me is here.
Good news eh!
I know it’s a bit of a shocking statement coming from a married woman, but I’ve decided I need and want Simon Pegg!
I don’t know how Anne will feel about this, but this man is pure magic when it comes to script writing for films and tv. If you don’t know him he’s been behind Spaced, Hot Fuzz and the re-write of Run Fat Boy Run, to name just a few.
I think Pink Champagne would fit brilliantly into the category of ‘types of film’ he hasn’t done yet. I also think he should star in the film too. Of course I wouldn’t leave Nick Frost out either. He is also fantastic and if you look at the main Pink Champagne site, you’ll see that his name is already against one of the characters. Can you guess which one?
So all I need to do is get him to agree. Simple eh.
If you happen to be a very good friend of his, put a good word in for us please. Otherwise, answers on a postcard.
I am so sad. I found this recipe on the tesco’s website for Pink Champagne and Rose Syllabubs.
Also check out the Thompson and Morgan site for the Clematis Pink Champagne and World of Roses for their Pink Champagne Rose.
I must get out more! I can’t resist looking for all things Pink Champagne-y. Here is another little recipe I came across on the Billingtons site. See if you can spot the 2 deliberate spelling mistakes.
Here’s a lovely little recipe I found on Delia’s website. Of course, in view of the name of this blog and website, it involves Pink Champagne!
Pink Champagne Jellies with Champagne Cream.
Perhaps it would be worth Heinrich, chef extraordinaire at The Den taking a quick look. Although sadly for him it doesn’t involve mushrooms. ![]()
The www.play.com review is now live. You can find it by clicking here.
With all the work we are doing on the blog site, Pink Champagne and Apple Juice.com is now on page 12 of Google for the search term Pink Champagne.
Uncle John will be pleased. And he ought to check out the new Pink Links. Littlecote Soaps have some gorgeous handmade soaps and bath products he might like for The Den.
Pop along to www.whosreadit.com to find another review. The link to the review is here. Not sure how long it will be on the front page, but if you visit the site you can ‘recommend the review’.
If you’re a member you can rate the book. I’ve obviously rated it 10, so it features in the top 250 books section under the fiction category. So if anyone else now votes, it will take it to the top of the fiction list.
Also added one on to www.play.com although this one takes 24 hours before it’s accepted.
The review for Pink Champagne on Divine Caroline has moved to page 1 on Google. Woohoo!
I have sent another review to a different website via email and they haven’t responded to me yet. Although I will check that it hasn’t been treated as spam.
